Delta Media Group Adds Former MLS Executive Officer to Build MLS-Agent Web Site Relationships

In today's market, home sales are driven by the Internet. The Internet is driven by the local IDX feeds of a region's MLS. Those feeds are driven by working relationships between the real estate agency's Web site provider and the MLS.

Delta Media Group understands just that, and took a pro-active approach to bridge the occasional MLS-real estate Web site gap by bringing on board a former 5,000-member MLS Executive Officer as MLS Business Development Coordinator.

Mike Bruce served as Executive Officer of Centralized Real Estate Information Services, Inc. (CRIS) since late 2001 and was the Director before that.

"I'm very excited to come on board with such an up and moving company like Delta Media Group," Bruce said. "After seeing everything that Delta Media Group is doing and where they are heading, I quickly realized an opportunity and that I needed to be part of it."

Delta Media Group is one of the nation's most innovative Web site and Lead Management systems builders and will utilize Bruce to manage all assets of MLS relationships, including MLS compliance, MLS contract coordination and future MLS business development. Bruce's addition to Delta Media Group's qualified team will aid the company's long-standing mission of keeping workable, solid relationships with MLS's across the nation.

"I think Delta is one of the most exceptional companies I've ever dealt with," Bruce said. "As an executive officer at CRIS I worked with several companies that used our IDX and none were as easy to work with or accessible as Delta Media Group. There were even times representatives from Delta Media Group called me up to let me know when there was a problem with our IDX feed that I was not yet aware of. That relationship is what inspired me to come work for Delta Media Group."

Bruce's situation is unique in that very few, if any real estate Web site companies utilize a former MLS Executive Officer to build working relationships with MLS's. "That's part of our vision, to create the best online tool for real estate agencies to grow their business on," Delta Media Group President Mike Minard said. "Having a working relationship with MLS's is a critical key in making real estate web sites work. We understand that and strive to go as far as possible in having good relationships with MLS's."

Prior to joining Delta Media Group, Bruce served as Executive Officer of Centralized Real Estate Information Services, Inc. (CRIS) since late 2001. Before taking the Executive Officer position he served as MLS Director, the highest position at the time. CRIS is a regional MLS made up of seven Boards of Realtors with over 5,000 members. Bruce began his work in the real estate industry as an agent before he ran Akron's MLS from 1992 to 1996. CRIS was started in 1997, and Bruce was in charge of taking all incoming data and entering it into the regional MLS system. He also assisted brokers with MLS set-up and compliance issues related to their public accessible Internet Data Exchange (IDX) web sites.

Bruce's addition is one of a few recent steps Delta Media Group has taken to advance their title as the nation's most innovative Web site and Lead Management systems provider. In an effort to capture customers quicker Delta Media Group has also recently added an automated drip marketing system and Customer Relationship Management system to their already-innovative Web Site Solutions. Delta Media Group builds one of the nation's top Lead Management systems to help agents utilize their web site presence, featured homes and IDX listings to gain the edge on competing agencies. Since 1994 Delta Media Group has provided many of the nation's leading real estate companies with one of the best lead generating Web sites on the market. The Canton, Ohio-based company's Lead Management and Property Pursuit Atlas Search systems provide a more user-friendly online real estate experience for both consumers and real estate agents. Nearly 200 agencies and more than 24,000 agents in 48 states are using Delta Media Group Web sites.
