Coming Tuesday: Post listings on Craigslist

Delta Media Group customers will soon be able to easily post their real estate listings on Craigslist.

On Tuesday, June 2, Delta Media Group will release a platform that automatically creates HTML code for a templated Craigslist post. Real estate agents and brokerage administrators only need to copy and paste the code into Craigslist to post the listing.

Unlike search portals Trulia, Zillow, Yahoo and others, Craigslist does not allow for automated listing syndication. Instead, Delta Media Group's Craigslist function automatically creates a visual and results-focused template, saving a significant amount of time for agents who manually post listings to Craigslist.

The Craigslist template features the listing agent name, contact information and link to his or her real estate website, as well as MLS information on the listing, including photos, listing details and a link to the listing's website. The template also has several lead capture buttons built to drive leads and traffic to the agent's real estate website, and into the real estate lead management system.

Delta Media Group's update makes posting on Craigslist as simple as possible. The Craigslist link will be added to the Listing page on the DeltaNet between the eCards and Seller Reports links. To generate a Craigslist ad, click "Generate Ad" in the Craiglist column, then select which template color combination you'd prefer. The system will immediately generate the HTML code for the ad, which you can view by clicking "Preview." From there, simply copy the code, click "Post to Craigslist," and the system will open the page to paste the code in for the post.

Craigslist is an online classified ad forum broken down by region. It has grown tremendously in popularity, boasting over 50 million visitors and 20 billion page views per month. In the first day of posting listings to Craigslist, a Delta Media Group customer running a beta program of the Craigslist feed received two showing requests from Craigslist.

Contact Delta Media Group for more information on how to post listings to Craigslist, or Delta Media Group's real estate website and lead management systems.

Excellent Job.

Posting to craigslist on a periodic basis is key in many cities to generate home buyer inquiries. Craigslist has long overwhelmed the newspapers in communicating housing information in many cities -

This feature is a huge lift for Delta Media Clients

This is really GREAT, but it is not a really great idea to have your EMAIL address on craigslist. A better way is to use the contact form link, or let responders respond directly through the craigslist system that makes your address private.

Spammers will data mine craigslist for emails...

Mike, I tend to agree with you! The Delta Media Group Craigslist.com System does give template options. I know that some of the templates that are being released do not show the address.

I just heard of an agent that got 4 calls and 2 showing appointments in one afternoon after posting his listings on Craigslist.com

I use Craigslist all the time. Posting ad on Crigslist helps make the phone ring!!! Most of my business comes from the internet, sometime with as many as 4,000+ page views a week!!! This is huge service for agents that learn to use this great feature.
