Previously, the Listing Statistics page displayed only the amount of times per week the listing was viewed on all Delta Media Group real estate websites, and broke these into the amount of times the listing was viewed on the specific brokerage Web system (including all agent websites connected to the brokerage site), and the amount of times the listing was viewed on other Delta Media Group real estate websites via the Property Pursuit national property search. Those columns will remain and include the Search Engine Web Crawler Views column. While it's a good thing for search engine Web crawlers to find listings, they can skew viewed listing statistics. The new column allows brokers and agents to detect if a listing had a large influx in hits due to search engine crawlers or legitimate real estate website visitors. This will help brokerages better understand their real estate website statistics and gauge definitive jumps in traffic following advertisements and search engine optimization strategies.
