Broker Advisory Committee Meeting

To all Delta Media Group Brokers and Administrators:

I am pleased to announce the start of an amazing opportunity for you to network and dialogue with colleagues, taking your online business to the next level. On February 20th at 1:00pm EST I am starting Broker Advisory Committees at Delta Media Group.

The Broker Advisory Committees will meet monthly using GoToMeeting. Using GoToMeeting you are able to easily participate in the Committee, minimizing costs to you and maximizing your return. I am asking the Owner(s), Broker(s), Administrator(s), and Training, and Marketing Personnel be involved in the Committees.

During the Broker Advisory Committees I will be sharing and facilitating discussions on topics such as: Generating more leads now; Getting your agents to close more business; How can the company generate more business for the agents; Getting more web traffic; etc.

In addition, I have been tweaking verbiage and creating more calls to action on a Brokerage Web Site over the past ten weeks. During this time, I have been able to increase customer requests and opportunities by over 45%. I want to begin making these changes on your site as well, free of charge to you! In order to facilitate these changes you need to be part of the Broker Advisory Committee as these changes will be announced and discussed during the meetings.

To confirm your participation in your Broker Advisory Committee please register at https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/264972449. Please have each attendee register that may participate including their name, email address, title/duties and phone number.

Manually Entered Sold Listing Photo Title Display Update

As an update to the Manually Entered Sold Listing Photo Title Display announcement, I am adding a follow-up post to share more information regarding this functionality.

The Delta Media Group web site system for agents gives real estate agents the ability to feature sold listings within their web site. This functionality is found under the Listings Section and then the Sold Listings Sub-Section as shown in the screen shot attached.

Within this section agents are able title listing images. This is helpful for Search Engine Optimization.

I recommend posting good comments for the photo that may describe the market information, using key phrases that customers may be searching on such as: Beautiful, farm style home in Bath, Ohio that I sold in 37 days.

Webinar a success, another scheduled for today

Thanks to those of you who helped make Wednesday's Webinar a great success!

With hundreds of real estate agents nationwide in attendance, Delta Media Group had a lot of positive responses about their Webinar, "Drive More Online Opportunities!"

In the Webinar, Delta Media Group Vice President Jonathan Blood discussed how to improve online opportunities and leads through improved Search Engine Optimization, blogging, custom biography and market content, and more. These topics are some of the most widely discussed among real estate agents in 2009, and Delta Media Group's Webinar was designed to show agents how to take full advantage of them.

For those agents that don't have the time, or would prefer to have a these services professionally facilitated, Delta Media Group has proposed their Agent Marketing program, also discussed in the Webinar (click here for more information).

Delta Media Group will host another Webinar on the same topic Thursday, January 15 at 11am Eastern. Click here to register.

- Ability to attach an agent to the contact via the "DMGAgentID" column on the new downloadable template file

- Ability to attach customer comments to the contact via the "Comments" column on the new downloadable template file

- Added a "confirmation" page. When the user uploads a csv file they are then taken to a screen that shows what data was retrieved (before it would just insert into the database without confirmation from the user). Also, if there are any conflicts such as email addresses that already exist the system and empty email addresses, the user has the option of dropping the entry or adding an email address, or even adding without an email address. After they have confirmed the data is correct they can then click on "Add Contacts to database".

- Added the ability to add customer notes on the agent side of the Lead System under Processed Leads and Contacts. If you click on "View" next to a contact you will see a textarea box where notes/comments can be added on the customer
