Delta Media Group releases new photo title functionality

A routine fix has led to new real estate website functionality for our customers.

While addressing a bug in the photo system, Delta Media Group programmers realized it would be convenient for agents and admins if they could save original photo titles when replacing photos.

Now, when an agent or admin replaces a listing photo on a real estate website, he has the option to keep the existing photo comments or remove them.

Delta Media Group's real estate website and lead management system accepts up to 99 photos and 255 characters of text per photo, allowing agents to narrate a photo walk-through of a listing. Since agents often replace listing photos with high def images, the option to save the photo title saves agents the time of having to rewrite their listing photo descriptions.

The new programming automatically saves photo titles when a photo is replaced, unless an agent or admin clicks the box to clear the photo title.

Agents and admins using Delta Media Group's real estate Web systems are encouraged to add extra listing photos and descriptions. Many MLS's place limits on the number of photos permitted per listing. Since buyers often browse several real estate websites before making a purchase, having more listing photos than the competition can help capture these buyers.

In addition, photo titles provide unique listing content - a key to building successful long tail search engine optimization. Listing content is typically replicated on all real estate company websites and real estate agent websites that are subscribed to a particular data feed. But the ability to provide photo titles gives brokerages several areas from which to create unique content, which search engines love.

Delta Media Group releases 'Post-to-Craigslist' updates

As promised, Delta Media Group released new functionality today to its 'Post-to-Craigslist' system.

The Craigslist system now displays the number of days since a listing was posted to Craigslist for each respective listing. The 'CraigsList.org' column of the 'Listings' page has the link from which agents can generate a Craigslist ad, and displays parentheses noting whether an ad has been generated and, if so, how long ago.

The new programming allows real estate agents and admins to monitor when they need to re-post listings to Craigslist based on the expiration date for the agent or admin's respective area.

Each Craigslist region can have different posting regulations. Some only hold a post for seven days, while others may be posted for 30 days or more. The posting date monitor gives brokers and agents working between multiple markets an easy way to track when they posted their listings, and better gauge when they should re-post.

Delta Media Group released its 'Post-to-Craigslist' system two months ago, easily allowing brokers and agents using Delta Media Group's real estate website and lead management systems to post listings to Craigslist. The tool has been a tremendous boost for real estate brokers and agents, with several reporting significant traffic increases generated from Craigslist.

Delta Media Group adds website tracking to Lead Management system

Delta Media Group programmers have added new functionality to the 'Leads & Contacts' page of the lead management system on the DeltaNet.

The 'Request Source' category of the 'New Leads' and 'Processed Leads & Contacts' pages of the DeltaNet has long shown agents and admins if leads came from their website or another source - like a sign call, office visit, or magazine ad call - if the lead was manually entered into the lead management system.

Now, the 'Request Source' category will display specifically what kind of website the lead came from, whether the real estate company website or a real estate agent website.

The new 'Request Source' lead tracking functionality makes it easy for real estate agents to see if they are generating website leads themselves or the company is driving leads to their sites, and gives company admins the ability to follow how many leads the real estate company website is producing for agents.

Delta Media Group's real estate websites are integrated so real estate company website leads can automatically distribute to real estate agents, who receive instant notification of the lead via E-mail and text message (depending on the system the agent is using), and can quickly follow up with the customer about his or her specific request. 'Request Source' lead tracking can help agents and companies better understand their lead types for follow-up and strategic marketing initiatives.

Just Released: New programming on the Open House V3 system

Delta Media Group launched the Open House V3 system for all real estate company websites today, and added a few updates to the system.

Real estate companies now have the ability to customize the message displayed when no open houses are found. The 'No Opens Verbiage' feature is located on the bottom of the 'Open House Preferences' tab on the DeltaNet Real Estate lead management system.

Located just above the 'No Open Verbiage' section is the 'Hide Filters' field, where real estate companies can now disable certain filter feeds on the public open house search form, including the 'zip code', 'neighborhood,' 'subdivision' and 'school district' fields.

When adjusting these fields on the DeltaNet, the adjustments will default to all open house forms.

Contact Delta Media Group for more information on the Open House V3 system and new programming, or for details on Delta Media Group's real estate website and lead management systems.
