Improving your real estate lead sorting options

Having trouble finding reassigned real estate leads?

Delta Media Group has added a new column in the DeltaNet showing the assigned date of all real estate website leads to help ease your search.

The 'Assigned Date' column can be found by logging into the DeltaNet, clicking the 'Leads & Contacts' tab, then the 'Processed Leads & Contacts' sub-tab.

The column is located to the right of the 'Last Activity Date' column, just before the lead 'Actions' column for agents.

The 'Assigned Date' column allows real estate agents to filter their leads by date they were assigned for easier sorting and follow-up. Real estate website admins can reassign leads when necessary, and the 'Assigned Date' column will help agents more quickly search their contacts database to find the lead they received a lead notification for.

Agents and admins using Delta Media Group's real estate lead management systems can sort their leads and contacts by when they were last logged in or when they created their lead or account, or by name, E-mail address or lead type.

The 'Assigned Date' column is the newest addition to Delta Media Group's renowned real estate lead management system, which can be set up to automatically distribute real estate leads, and allow real estate agents to sort those leads, view their customer's real estate preferences, and follow up with that customer to give him a more thorough real estate experience.

Delta Media Group adds Open House price to CSV export

You can now sort your open house exports by price.

Delta Media Group created a price column in the open house CSV export, allowing exported open houses from the DeltaNet to be sorted by price, among other categories.

The new functionality adds the price column to an open house export that already included MLS ID, open house dates, open house start time, open house end time, open house/listing agent, agent contact information, open house comments, open house directions and office name of the real estate agent.

The open house export is one of several CSV exports built into the DeltaNet, allowing real estate brokers and admins to export real estate information into a spreadsheet to enter it into another real estate technology platform.

CSV exports allow for more convenient data communication between technology platforms that otherwise don't correspond. By exporting listing data via CSV, real estate brokers and agents can easily import that data into another real estate platform without having to re-submit the data manually.

To export open houses, log into the admin side of the DeltaNet, click the 'Open Houses' tab, then click the 'View Open Houses' sub-tab. The top-right button will export open houses into a CSV file.

Inman Study: Brokers increasing recruiting, tech...Are you?

A new article on Inman News says surveyed real estate brokerages are cutting back on office staff and marketing, but increasing spending in new technologies and agent recruiting.

The Inman News article is based on a broker survey Inman conducted, and says brokers over the past year have not pushed to increase desk fees and commission splits with agents. The survey also shows 77 percent of brokers have made additions to their foreclosure/distressed properties businesses over the past year.

The article is currently behind Inman.com's pay wall, so only Inman subscribers will be able to access it in its entirety. But based on the findings stated, we'd love to hear what your brokerage is doing.

Are you increasing technology spending? Are you beefing up real estate agent recruiting? Are you cutting your budget for office staff? Are you cutting marketing? What kind of marketing are you cutting, and why?

Delta Media Group has been working hard to put forward several new products, developments, and services that can help boost the business of real estate brokerages and agents. We'd love to hear your thoughts on this study, and see how we might best be able to help the real estate industry push forward.

Delta Media Group's real estate search engine optimization (SEO) service is a new product offering that has recently been successful in helping several brokerages significantly increase online traffic and real estate leads. We hope your feedback can help us better enhance this and other Delta Media Group programs and services.

Feel free to leave comments on this blog post, post through Delta Media Group's Facebook or Twitter accounts, or contact us directly.

Now Needed: Facebook and Twitter followers

We're trying to grow our Facebook and Twitter outreach, and we need your help!

Delta Media Group is actively building social networking communication channels through Facebook and Twitter to best serve our customers. We currently have 293 'Fans' of our Facebook page, and 309 followers on our Twitter account.

While some in the real estate industry are actively promoting the use of Facebook and Twitter as helpful online mediums, others remain skeptical. So we've assembled a few questions and answers below to best spell out our social networking intentions, and help some of the tens of thousands of agents using our real estate websites to best implement these methods if they choose.

Why Social Networks?
Social networks are quickly growing to become great resources for real estate brokerages and agents. Social networks allow brokerages to increase their brand exposure, and allow agents to build online networks of friends, family, community members and potential clients. In addition, they provide convenient communication channels, and around-the-clock access for prospects to see your profile, your business updates, and get to better know you as a person.

How will Delta Media Group improve communication through social networks?
Facebook and Twitter are excellent passive communication channels. While we don't expect agents to have time every day to check our website, read our blog, and contact our support team, most active Facebook and Twitter users check those accounts daily, and often, several times a day.

Upon checking those accounts, you might find in your time line recent news updates Delta Media Group will communicate through those channels. If you have time to read further into those updates, you can click on the corresponding link. If not, at least you're aware of the update or notice, and you can always go back to it later.

By applying similar news updates to your accounts, you can effectively keep your name and real estate website in front of prospective clients.

Can I communicate with Delta Media Group through social networks?
Please! We encourage active correspondence with our social networking accounts and blog! Have a success story? Please let us know. Have an idea on something we could develop or improve for you? We'd love to hear it! Have questions on our systems? We can help point you in the right direction.
