Use map based radius search for new listing emails



Today a new feature was launched providing REALTORS® the ability to set-up map-based radius search new listing emails for clients.

With this release REALTORS® are now presented with two options of setting up the new listing emails through the DeltaNet™. They can choose Market Based which is by market names such as County, Zip Code, City, School District, Neighbourhood  Subdivision, Lake Name, etc. Or, they can now choose Radius Based which is by an area on a map.

What are the benefits for your Customer?

Your customer has more control over what they receive. This can be especially useful in rural markets. Some customers also like to search within a specific distance from their work or school. This new feature provides the ability to receive new email notifications based on this type of criteria.

Radius based new listing notifications gives REALTORS® more control over what their customers receive. This provides the customers exactly what they're looking for and allows the REALTOR® to better meet their customer's needs.

How do you set up map based radius search emails for your Customer?

There are 6 steps to set this up for your customer. Here are the steps.


Step 1

Log in to the DeltaNet™ and go to the Customer Center.


Step 2

Choose the customer from the Customer Detailed or Hot New Customers List and click on their name.

Step 3

Click on Add a Saved Search.

Step 4

Choose by Radius. Radius will allow you to set up a saved search centred on a specific location with the area inside the radius to be included in the Saved Search.

Step 5

Enter an address in the top bar or move the marker to the general location in the state the customer is looking in. To zoom in, you can use the Zoom Slider located on the left side of the map, or you can double click near the marker to zoom in. click and hold on one of the boxes that define the circle and drag, to change the coverage area of the radius.


Step 6

Click Save and the saved search is completed and will be available for your customer to search with.


Please keep in mind that when the customer runs the search on the public side, it will show as an Atlas Search containing the bounds of the radius.
