Delta releases design refinements to our Advanced Search Results interface


Delta constantly upgrades our real estate marketing systems and website features in order to help you more effectively engage with website visitors and close more business.  This week, we have released several usability and aesthetic refinements to our Advanced Search Results interface which improve the user experience for consumers searching for homes on your website.

Delta's Atlas Search Results System

Here are several refinements to our Advanced Search 'Map Results' and 'Search Results' lists... 


In the 'Refine Results' area, the auto complete functionality was changed from a standard text field to a modern search field. A button now appears when text has been entered in the field.  See example screen right.




In the 'Locations' area, the 'X' was redesigned to be a more graphically symmetrical X.  See example screen left.






The MLS ID 'Locations' results were relabeled to be more graphically pleasing and make more sense to the user. See example screen right.







In the Atlas Map Search interface, the map results now stays centered in the middle of the screen when the user's window is re-sized.  See example screen left.

Irongate's elegant new website design features a vertical scrolling home screen with full screen background imagery and a hovering navigation menu which remains at the top as users scroll vertically.

Its central quick search auto-complete box is centrally and prominently featured on the home screen, and it automatically suggests matching cities, towns, school districts and subdivisions while searchers are typing letters. Each search suggestion is clickable, and displays how many properties are for sale in its area.

The site's advanced search interface allows users to search for homes via Interactive Atlas Search powered by Google Maps, where users can click and drag their search area, then filter results by listing details as well as view thumbnail photos. The search map displays icons representing properties for sale. When clicked on, visitors will see a pop up with the listing’s details, from which they can request a showing, ask questions or add the listing to their favorites. Visitors can also click to view additional information and the property image gallery.

Irongate's Marketing Director, Mark Stokoe, thought the timing was right for an overhaul to their corporate website.  “We had not updated our site in more than five years, which is a very long time for the internet,” says Mark.  "The older site was wonderful in its day -- but was not as graphically engaging or technologically proficient as we wanted in 2014. Consumers indicated they wanted a simpler experience, in terms of search options, and so we listened.”

Atlas Map Search and mobile upgrades that will improve your customers' search experience


Delta's real estate web platform features the most robust real estate search functionality in the industry.

Our advanced search results system is a modern, feature rich, customer driven search interface containing the most up-to-date technology, like Interactive Atlas Search powered by Google Maps. And with this week's updates, our search interface just got better with usability updates that will improve your customers search experience.




We have improved the browser compatibility for the Atlas Map search.  Our map search functions support and function well on all modern browsers. 



It's also important that today's modern real estate platforms support tablets. Although our map search results interface is fully compatible with tablets, we have released an upgrade this week that optimizes the tablet search experience.  We have released a new action to  the search results and expand the map, making it bigger. Tapping the new arrow button in the middle of the screen will collapse or re-engage the 'Refine Results' tray, based on your users' search preferences.

Mobile Interface Search Upgrade

We have also added a 'Show Nearby Properties' button feature on the map in the mobile interface.

A user can perform a search and go to the map, then click 'Show Nearby Properties' and we will show any properties around them, even if they were not included in the original search criteria.

This feature upgrade allows mobile users to find more homes for sale by expanding their search.

Promote your sales success with Delta's enhanced 'Solds' System

Delta's Sold's system now allows for multiple layout options

Agents can now have more control and options for marketing sold properties. Our update allows you to easily change the sold listings page template and change the default layout from three columns to one columns, providing additional flexibility based on your preferences.

A one column layout allows agent providing additional content for customers on each sold property.

Agents can also easily add a custom description under each Sold Property that show as "Agent Comments".

The Sold Properties page template was also enhanced aesthetically, allowing for customized banners for each sold listing.





Agents can also now enter keywords for a solds page and sold listing, creating segments for your sold properties.  The keywords will filter sold listings with the keywords entered on your 'Custom Solds' pages.  Examples of keyword filter types might include all properties sold, cities, neighborhoods solds, specific markets, homes for families commercial, or whatever categories work best for your targeted buyer types.
